Seven-year-old Razieh is dead-set on getting a goldfish for Christmas… The little girl manages to convince her mother
and get some cash. She then goes on a wondrous journey towards the marketplace for the first time away from her
family. But after she loses the cash, everything goes off the rails… Jafar Panahi, one of the most renowned directors
of Iranian cinema, reflects the bittersweet adventures of Razieh in his first feature-length and shows how even the simplest of events may have dramatic effects on children.
