The Crossing

Kyona and her brother Adriel are separated from their parents as they flee the destruction of their country by the war. On this tragic journey from childhood to adulthood, they are constantly forced to find a new place of refuge in hopes of finding their family again. However, an entire continent is plagued by wars and life is full of difficulties for immigrants. Fascinatingly portrayed by Florenc Miailhe with her oil paintings on glass, this story takes place in an uncertain geography and time. However, the struggle of two siblings, full of extraordinary adventures, is a sharp portrait of today’s world where places of refuge are disappearing one by one.
