The summer camp, which is held in a settlement far from civilization in Mexico, provides religious education to students coming from private schools every year. Education given under strict discipline is an important step towards becoming tomorrow’s managers and leaders for these elite youth. This special camp is surrounded by wire fences against the “dangers” from the indigenous people living in the area. A series of events will make us question where the real danger comes from. The Hole in the Fence, with its psychological tension, presents a shocking portrait of the authoritarian world fed by blind faith. The film, which invites us to face the deep darkness of the human condition, leaves an impression that will not be forgotten for a long time.
