Hatice

Hatice Özkan has been suffering from SMA since she was 1 year old. She cannot move any muscle in her body. She can only see and speak. After 15 days of primary school, her teacher did not want Hatice in the classroom and she did not receive formal education again. With an extraordinary effort, she managed to live for a long time and continue her life as an individual, unlike most of those with the same disease. She started secondary school education at the age of 20. Today, Hatice has 6 undergraduate and 2 graduate diplomas from different universities, a family counseling certificate, and she became a public servant after waiting to be appointed for 3 years. This is the story of a woman who now left 42 years behind, despite being given the chance to live for 7-8 years at the most.

Murat Erün
Independent producer and director Murat Erün graduated from Ankara University with a degree in media and broadcasting. From 1989 onwards he held many different jobs as a photographer, news cameraman, television producer and director. From 2001 to 2015 he worked as a lecturer at Bahçeşehir University and Kadir Has University teaching video production, sound, lighting and editing.  He also worked as an independent director with İFR and Ustaoğlu Film companies.
