The amusement park in İzmir Kültür Park was closed in 2019 with the decision of the Metropolitan Municipality. Life in the amusement park, which turned into a deserted western town from the moment it was closed, began to flow much more slowly than the days when it was open. Just as it was about to reopen, a process that would take about two years started with the arrival of the pandemic. The Aegean Sun tells the unknown back side of the amusement park through the relations of the workers during the period when it was closed.
