Together,We Shall Die

Setting off from the Istanbul Archeological Museum and reaching the Galata Tower, the camera introduces us to the anguish of the film’s protagonist, Mazhar. He begins to tell us his story. The pain of the love he lived and still cannot forget... We go back to the beginning of the story and witness Mazhar’s meeting with Ece, the lover of one of his closest friends. We watch them falling in love despite everything and everyone. We are as happy as Istanbul for their stories, which take place in the days when Istanbul has not stopped wrapping us up yet. Melik Saraçoğlu and Hakkı Kurtuluş tell the story of a broken love in which Istanbul has become one of its protagonists.

HAKKI KURTULUŞ

Born in 1980. He completed his Cultural History PhD on Nietzsche and Goethe in 2013. He has made 5 feature and 6 short films. He published two books.

MELİK SARAÇOĞLU

Born in 1984. He studied Film and Literature at the Lumière University Lyon and University of Vienna. He won many awards with his movies. He has two published books.
