İsmet Kurtuluş and Kaar Arıcı began co-directing in 2017 with the political satire, The Last Schnitzel (Son Şnitzel), a short funded by the Danish Film Institute. The film won awards at leading genre festivals and was nominated for the Méliès d’Or award in 2018. Their first feature-length film, Donadona, screened at the 41st Istanbul Film Festival. RSVP (Please Respond) is their second feature.
