My Blue Car

A fugitive mother, a boy and his dog stay in an old farmhouse. The boy, who insists on having his toy car fixed, wants to know when they will be going home. In the meantime, he tries to figure out what is happening around him. He spies on the mysterious visitor and his mother, who tells him nothing.

Deniz Dirin
Born in 1996, in İzmir. She studied Film and Television at Istanbul Bilgi University where she is currently working on a Master’s degree. She has worked as a film editor and a camera assistant. Mavi Arabam / My Blue Car (2019) is her first short film.
