The Thousand and One Nights

Seyithan is a reluctant student, but one night when the power goes out in his village, he opens One Thousand and One Nights. When he begins to look at the pictures inside, the book soon draws Seyithan into its world.

Mahsum Taşkın

Born in Şırnak in 1994, Taşkın graduated from the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2018. After attending six months of filmmaking classes at the Mesopotamia Cinema Collective, he worked on various short film projects. Alf Leila Wa Leila is the first short he has written and directed.
