With a violin case on her back, 11-year-old Selin is throwninto the chaos of Istanbul to study for the conservatoryentrance exam which will shape her life. It’s a challengethat she has to face all on her own.

Can Deniz Atıcı

Born in Istanbul in 1988, Atıcı graduated from Boğaziçi University and the Binghampton University, New York. He has worked in the production crew for a number of feature films, and as assistant to director, Ferzan Özpetek. Black Box is the first film he has written and directed.
