Emre Birişmen lives and works as a visual artist and a filmmaker in Berlin since 2019. His artistic production mediated by film and video focuses on issues like survival, immigration, inequality, liberty, and justice. He is a member of different artists' collectives such as KABA-HAT Collective, HisTV Collective and Funke Collective. Since 2020, he is the co-founder of the Chromatic Wednesdays event series funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Europa, and the HIVE short film festival in Berlin.
