FILM FORUM APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 62nd INTERNATIONAL ANTALYA FILM FESTIVAL!

Applications are now open for the Film Forum, which brings together young and independent filmmakers as part of the 62nd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. Aiming to increase the production capacity of Turkish cinema and bring innovative and original projects to the attention of cinema professionals, the Film Forum will take place on 27-28 October 2025.

The Film Forum, part of the Antalya International Golden Orange Film Festival, stands out as a dynamic platform that brings Turkey's cinema together with important representatives of the global film industry. The forum, which encourages film production and supports the development of creative content, accepts projects in the categories of 'Pitching' and Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Screenplay Support Fund, First Feature Film Development Platform, Work-in-Progress Fiction Film Platform, and Work-in-Progress Documentary Film Platform under the Feature Film Platform.

In recent years, to support a national feature film in which at least two-thirds of the filming takes place in Antalya and at least two-thirds of the final cut includes scenes shot in Antalya, to increase film production in Antalya, which has the most favourable daylight and natural plateaus for filming in Turkey, Film Forum, which supports the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Screenplay Support Fund, established to transform Antalya into one of the important centres of the Turkish and global film industry, will accept projects until Monday, 22 September 2025.

Film Forum, which aims to increase the international visibility of projects by supporting directors and producers, is resolutely continuing its efforts in this direction. Applications for the forum can be submitted via the Film Forum page at www.antalyaff.com until Monday, 22 September 2025.

For the First Time at Film Forum: 'The First Feature Film Development Platform

This year, for the first time, the First Feature Film Development Platform will be launched as part of Film Forum. The aim is to support screenwriter-directors developing their first feature-length fiction film, to offer creative input to projects being scripted for the first time with the aim of filming, and to create a sustainable production plan. This year, for the first time, this section will be launched as part of the Film Forum to bring new life to Turkish cinema and support the transition process of first films.

Long-form film projects from Turkey with a minimum duration of 60 minutes can apply to the 'Pitching' platforms, while projects from Turkey that are in post-production or have completed at least 70% of their filming can apply to the 'Work in Progress' platforms until Monday, 22 September 2025.

Film Forum, Turkey's largest sectoral support platform, brings together directors, producers and screenwriters with international film professionals, and this year will award a total of 1,100,000 TRY in awards.
