WINNERS OF THE HONORARY AWARDS AT THE GOLDEN ORANGE FESTIVAL ANNOUNCED
At the 62nd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, the Honorary Awards will be presented this year to Serap Aksoy and Settar Tanrıöğen.
The recipients of this year's Honorary Awards at the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, Turkey's most established cinema event, have been announced. The festival, taking place from October 24 to November 2, 2025, will present the Honorary Awards to Serap Aksoy and Settar Tanrıöğen.
Serap Aksoy, who was honoured with the Honorary Award at the 62nd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, graduated from the Istanbul State Conservatory Ballet Department and continued her education at the Munich Music Academy. Serap Aksoy, who began her artistic career at the State Opera and Ballet, has created unforgettable works throughout her nearly 40-year career in theatre, cinema, and television. Aksoy began her television journey in 1983 with the series "Kartallar Yüksek Uçar" and made her film debut in Atıf Yılmaz's Değirmen. Aksoy played the character Fikret in the 1987 series "Yaprak Dökümü" and the role of Taşbaş's wife in the 1987 film "Yer Demir Gök Bakır." In 1989, she starred in the movie "Kantodan Tangoya." In 1992,
Aksoy played the character Kâmile in the film "Piano Piano Bacaksız," directed by Tunç Başaran. That same year, she won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 29th Antalya Film Festival for her role in the film "İki Kadın," written and directed by Yavuz Özkan. The film was also awarded the Best Turkish Film of the Year at the 12th International Istanbul Film Festival. In 1993, he starred as Tülay in the film "C Blok," produced by Zeki Demirkubuz, alongside Fikret Kuşkan, Selçuk Yöntem, and Zuhal Gencer. She left an indelible mark on Turkish cinema with her unforgettable roles in Piano Piano Bacaksız and C Blok. Returning to the screen in 2005 with the role of Nigar Yalçıner in the series "Aşk Yolu", the artist starred in the 2006 film "Hatırla Sevgili", the 2007 film "Kilit", and the series "Karayılan". In 2009, she played the character Ayten İsfendiyar in the series "Kül ve Ateş" and the character Sevim in the film "Sonsuz" that same year. In 2010, Aksoy starred in the film "Kukuriku - Kadın Krallığı". In 2014, she played Güllü in the film "Yağmur: Kıyamet Çiçeği" and Cahide Hekimoğlu in the series "Güllerin Savaşı" that same year.
In addition to acting, Serap Aksoy also works as a host; she hosted the programs "Alkışlar", which she produced on TV8, "Merhaba Beyler Talk Show" on TRT2, the culture and arts program "Serap'ın Ajandası" on Star TV, and the children's reality show "Neredesin" on Show TV.

Settar Tanrıöğen, who was honoured with the Honorary Award at the 62nd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, began his acting career on the theatre stage. Tanrıöğen's theatre credits include Bir Demet Tiyatro, Bir Kış Öyküsü, and Dünyada Karşılaşmış Gibi (2019). She starred in the productions of Yedi Kocalı Hürmüz and Üç Kurşunluk Opera. Tanrıöğen made her film debut in 1996 with the film Eşkıya, directed by Yavuz Turgul. He subsequently appeared in the productions Ardından Yara (1998), Yazı Tura (2003), and 2 Süper Film Birden (2005).
In 2005, Tanrıöğen experienced a significant turning point in his film career with his performance in the film Takva. He also starred in the productions Hayatımın Kadınısın, Kader, Polis, Nokta, and Vavien (2009), adding numerous films to his filmography. He won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 42nd Cinema Writers Association (SİYAD) Awards in 2009, particularly for his performance in the film Vavien. In 2010, Tanrıöğen once again garnered praise for his character in the film Çoğunluk and was awarded the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 43rd SİYAD Awards for this performance. 2014 marked another turning point in Tanrıöğen's career. Her performances in the films Yağmur: Kıyamet Çiçeği, Toz Ruhu, and Nergis Hanım earned the Special Jury Prize at the 21st International Adana Golden Orange Film Festival. Additionally, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 2015 Sadri Alışık Theatre and Cinema Actor Awards for his performance in the film Nergis HanımIn. In recent years, Tanrıöğen has added new successes to his film career with the movies Saklı (2015), Aşıklar Bayramı (2022), and Bomboş (2023), and has also brought unforgettable characters to life in television series. He began his television career with the 1994 series Aziz Ahmet, continuing with productions such as Bir Aşk Uğruna (1994), Çiçek Taksi (1996), and Bir Demet Tiyatro (1997).
Tanrıöğen, who gained widespread recognition in 1998 for his role as "Vakkas Resuloğlu" in the TV series İkinci Bahar, followed this success with projects such as Utanmaz Adam (1998), Güneş Yanıkları (2000), Hızma (2002), Alacakaranlık (2003), Ödünç Hayat (2005), and Gece Gündüz (2008-2009). The actor, who won viewers' admiration with his portrayal of the character "Salih Çelik" in the series Baba Candır, which aired between 2015 and 2017, has once again delivered a powerful performance on television screens in recent years with his portrayal of the character "Abdullah Ünal" in the series Kızılcık Şerbeti (2022-2024).
Tanrıöğen appeared before viewers in the series Kızıl Goncalar in the role of "Saatçi Aziz." Settar Tanrıöğen gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of the character "Ali Sadi Hoca" in the 2020 series Bir Başkadır. He solidified his success in the digital world with the series "Kuvvetli Bir Alkış," which aired in 2024.
The "Honorary Awards" of the 62nd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival will be presented to their recipients at the festival's opening ceremony on Saturday, 25 October 2025.
