“THE FINALISTS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED FOR THE FILM SCHOOL STUDENT FILM COMPETITION!”
The finalists have been announced for the “Cinema Schools Student Film Competition,” which will be held as part of Turkey's most established film festival, the Antalya International Golden Orange Film Festival. The 62nd edition of the festival, to be held from October 24 to November 2, 2025, has announced the 10 projects that have advanced to the finals of the Film School Student Film Competition. The competition aims to support students studying film, bring them together with professionals, and strengthen their creative potential.
The Preliminary Selection Committee for the Film School Student Film Competition, to which 34 projects from 75 different film schools across Turkey applied, was formed by director and screenwriter Aydın Sayman and director Onur Güler.
Schools and students who advance to the festival finals will be accredited to view local and international films from the latest period of the festival; they will also have the opportunity to meet with cinema professionals throughout the festival. The student film selected as “Best Film” in the competition will be awarded the Golden Orange statuette.
