THE GALA EXCITEMENT AT THE GOLDEN ORANGE FESTIVAL

The 62nd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival will welcome cinema lovers with an opening ceremony hosted by successful presenters Cansu Canan Özgen and Alpdoğan Esenoğlu.

Turkey's most established film festival is once again hosting the magic of cinema. The festival will welcome film lovers with an opening ceremony hosted by Cansu Canan Özgen and Alpdoğan Esenoğlu at the Glass Pyramid on the evening of Saturday, October 25

The festival, which will bring together the latest productions from Turkish and world cinema and the masters of the silver screen with cinema lovers until November 2 and transform the spirit of cinema into a feast with many side events, will begin its opening night with the traditional red-carpet ceremony. The distinguished guests of the juries that will determine the Golden Orange winners will also be present at the ceremony.

The parade, which takes place every year on the streets of Antalya, allowing spectators to meet their favourite stars, will start at 3:30 p.m. on October 25 from the Atatürk Cultural Centre (AKM). Following the parade, the opening ceremony will be held, during which the Honorary Awards, Achievement Awards, and Labour Awards will be presented to their recipients.

During the evening, veteran actors Serap Aksoy and Settar Tanrıöğen will receive the Honorary Award, while screenwriter-author Feride Çiçekoğlu will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. Actors Merve Dizdar and Selahattin Paşalı will receive the Achievement Awards, while screenwriter-director Cansu Baydar will receive the Young Filmmaker Achievement Award.
