Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund
The Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Support Fund Pitching Platform will be organized as part of the Antalya Film Forum to be held during the 60th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, between October 8-12, 2023. The platform is open to feature-length fiction projects from Türkiye.
The Antalya Film Forum will take place physically in Antalya between October 8-10, 2023, and online between October 10-12, 2023.
The aim of the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform is to support a national feature-length film whose at least two-thirds of its scenes are shot in Antalya and featured in the final cut of the film, increase film production in Antalya where the most favorable daylight and natural plateaus for filmmaking in Türkiye are located, and transform Antalya into one of the important centers of the Turkish and global film industry.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1) Producers wishing to participate in the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform must submit their official applications by filling out the online application form at https://vp.eventival.com/antalyaff/forum-2023 by Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
2) Projects applying to the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform should submit the documents listed below in Turkish and in PDF format. The submitted documents will be evaluated by the Antalya Film Forum Selection Committee.
3) Applications can be made to the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform with Turkish production/co-production feature-length film scripts that have not applied in previous years and will contain scenes shot in Antalya at least two-thirds of their filming and in the final cut of the film.
4) A production company can apply to different platforms with different projects. It cannot apply to the same platform with more than one project. A project can only be applied to one platform.
5) Projects applying to the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform must comply with the following principles:
- The full-length film scripts of the applicant must be completed scripts.
- Feature-length film projects from Türkiye lasting at least 60 minutes can participate in the Feature Film Pitching Platform.
- Applications can only be made by the producer of the project.
- Projects that have started shooting cannot apply to the Feature Film Pitching Platform. The selected projects must not have started shooting until the award ceremony date of the Antalya Film Forum, which is Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
- The director must have shot at least one short film, documentary, or feature film. (The link of the film will be requested.)
- For projects applying to the Feature Film Pitching Platform as a co-production, it is required that at least one of the main producer or co-producer companies be registered in Türkiye.
6) The Antalya Film Forum Selection Committee selects up to 3 projects from the applicant projects to participate in the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform. The English versions of the materials requested during the application will also be required to facilitate the meeting of the selected projects with international film professionals.
7) The selected projects are announced on the Antalya Film Forum page on the website of the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival on Friday, September 8, 2023.
8) It is mandatory for the producer or director of the selected project to attend all physical and online meetings of the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform. If the producer or director cannot attend the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform, the selected project cannot be nominated for the awards.
9) The Forum Management has the right to remove projects that do not comply with the regulation conditions from the platform.
10) The Forum Management does not announce the list of scripts submitted or provide information about the productions applied. Only the productions nominated for the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform, chosen by the pre-jury, are announced.

JURY AND PRESENTATIONS
1) The main jury of the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform consists of scriptwriters, directors, producers, executive producers, distributors, film fund managers, television channel managers, sales company representatives, etc., who are experts in their field and have significant works in national and international cinema. The jury that will evaluate the scripts nominated for the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund is determined and invited by the Antalya Film Forum Management.
2) The producer and director of the selected projects present to the main jury invited to the Antalya Film Forum in a closed session.
3) A Forum manager also attends the jury meetings after the presentations, providing verbal information based on regulatory articles. The jury makes an evaluation in accordance with this briefing.
ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS
One-on-one meetings will be held physically in Antalya on October 8, 9, and 10, and online from October 12.
AWARD
1) Among the projects participating in the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform, a project determined by the jury is awarded the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Award. The jury cannot share the Antalya Film Forum, Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform awards.
2) The awards are announced at the closing ceremony of the Antalya Film Forum on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
3) A prize of 200,000 TL will be awarded to the production company of the winning project.
4) This award will become valid with the start of filming by October 10, 2024. If the shooting of the film does not start by this date, the award will lose its validity. An extension may be granted if the producer informs the Forum management in writing that the shooting did not start due to force majeure.
5) The monetary prize is net, and the prize money for the winning project is paid to the production company in two equal installments. The first installment is paid after the completion of the first week of filming in Antalya, and the second installment is paid after the production company sends a screener link of the completed project to the Antalya Film Forum via email. The link of the film must be sent by December 20, 2024, at the latest. If there is a delay in post-production, the producer can apply to extend this period by 6 months. Taxes and similar legal deductions are the responsibility of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality.
6) A protocol is prepared between the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and the winning production company.
7) Producers of projects awarded at the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform are obliged to use the logos of the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival and Antalya Film Forum in their film's credits, in their press releases, newspaper ads, and all promotional materials related to the film.
8) Producers of award-winning projects in the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform are obliged to send a status report every six months to the e-mail address of the Antalya Film Forum regarding developments in their projects.
9) The jury fulfills its obligation not to make any written or verbal statements about the projects applying to the platform and the award until the awards are announced during the Forum.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
1) All producers applying to the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform are considered to have accepted the matters specified in this regulation.
2) The authority to decide and the right to change in matters not determined in this regulation belong to the Antalya Film Forum.
3) This regulation has come into effect on July 10th 2023, with the approval of the Festival Management.
4) The Antalya Film Forum Management reserves the right to make changes to the regulation as necessary.
