The Films That Receive A Huge Number Of Applications Will Be Evaluated By A Jury Whose Achievements In Their Field Have Exceeded The Borders.
The National Competition Jury of the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, with Ferzan Özpetek as the jury president, consists of Deniz Göktürk Kobanbay, Gökçe Bahadır, İlker Kaleli, Melis Behlil, Melisa Önel and Mercan Dede.
Director, screenwriter and author Ferzan Özpetek, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award in Antalya in 2018 and has achieved worldwide success with his films, books, the installation titled "Venetika" which he prepared for the Venice Biennale, musicals and theater plays he staged; David Di Donatello award-winning designer and art director Deniz Göktürk Kobanbay; screenwriter/director Melisa Önel, known for her films "Taste of Kumun" which was in the Forum section of the 64th Berlin Film Festival in 2014 and "Aniden" which was released in 2023; ney player, composer, producer and DJ Mercan Dede, co-founder of the Mercan Dede Ensemble group and who represents our country worldwide with his music; Kadir Has University faculty member and cinema critic Assoc. The jury, consisting of Melis Behlil, Gökçe Bahadır, who has left her mark with the characters she has portrayed in the movies, TV series and theater she has acted in, and who has inspired women with her stance in life, and İlker Kaleli, who has made all of his characters iconic with his acting performance in local and foreign projects and who is on the most-watched list in the countries where it was last shown, will select the ‘Bests’ of the Feature Film Competition, which has reached the highest number of applications in the last ten years.
International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival Will Bring Together The Leading Names Of Cinema Life.
The juries that will evaluate the films that will compete in different categories at the festival, which is preparing to achieve international success with the power and enchanting effect of cinema, were formed by experienced names.
The festival's Film-Direction jury includes Ömer Uğur, the scriptwriter and director of Eve Dönüş and Gurldayan Kalpler, Eylem Kaftan, who won international awards with her documentary Vendetta Song and attracted attention with her films Kovan and Bir Gün 365 Saat, and Biket İlhan, the master director of the films Mavi Gözlü Dev Nazım Hikmet and Hilal-i Ahmer Women's Center.
The National Documentary Film Competition jury consists of journalist and documentarian Ahmet Yeşiltepe, known for his history and culture documentaries, director Jale İncekol, who documented the Orchestra of the Village School in Varto, and academic Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurdan Tümbek, while the short films participating in the National Short Film Competition will be evaluated by screenwriter, actor and director Derya Durmaz, who won 11 awards in 43 festivals in 19 countries with her short film Ziazan, director Erdem Tepegöz, who won many national and international awards with his films Zerre and Gölgeler İçinde, and Pınar Göktaş, who won awards with her short film ‘Bayrak’, which she wrote, directed and starred in in 2021, and who starred in the feature film ‘Uzaklarda Arama’ directed by Türkan Şoray.
The jury of the Cinema School Student Film Competition section includes Aycan Çetin, the producer of the award-winning films A Woman's Anatomy and Yengeç Sepeti, Handan İpekçi, who was nominated for an OSCAR in 2001 with her film Büyük Adam Küçük Aşk, and Mehmet Güleryüz, one of the founders of SETEM, known for his film Havar.

The International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, defined by Italian-born French film theorist Ricciotto Canudo as the "seventh art" and identified with Antalya, is being hosted by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality.
