“EDE” A Farewell, A Poverty, A Death

The film tells the story of the Edes, who are known as Abdals throughout Anatolia and who live in the Emirdağ region today. Edes, who make their living from musicianship and whose numbers are very few today, continue their lives in a small neighborhood despite the emigration that started in the 1960s. Their passion for music comes with a triangle of “A Separation, A Poverty and A Death”, according to the story flow they have.

Born in Eskişehir. In 2009, he became the founder of Gap Film and Media for which he produced several projects for various broadcasters. He is currently working as a director in Gap Film and Media.
