Antalya Film Forum Applications Open
Applications for the Antalya Film Forum, which is part of the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival and eagerly awaited by young and independent filmmakers, are now open. The forum, which aims to increase co-production opportunities and support the development of the film industry, will take place between October 7-9.
Antalya Film Forum, the co-production and project development market of the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, which brings together producers from abroad, programmers of film festivals, representatives of world sales companies and distributors with our country's cinema industry in Antalya, continues to arouse interest both nationally and internationally.
The forum, which aims to increase co-production opportunities and support the development of the film industry, is open to projects in the categories of “Feature Fiction Film ‘Pitching’ Platform”, “Feature Fiction Film ‘Work-in-Progress’ Platform”, “Documentary Film Work In Progress Platform”, “TV Series / Short Series Pitching Platform”.
To support a national feature-length film that will include at least two-thirds of the scenes shot in Antalya in the final cut of the film, with at least two-thirds of the scenes shot in Antalya, and to increase film production in Antalya, which has the most favorable daylight and natural plateaus for filming in Turkey, Supported by the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund, which aims to transform Antalya into one of the most important centers of the Turkish and global film industry, Antalya Film Forum will accept projects to the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Script Support Fund 'Pitching' Platform this year.
Applications to Antalya Film Forum, which continues its efforts to increase the visibility of projects on international platforms by encouraging producers and directors, will be accepted until 18:00 on Monday, September 16 via the Antalya Film Forum page at www.antalyaff.com.
Feature film projects from Turkey with a duration of at least 60 minutes can apply to the 'Pitching' platforms and projects from Turkey that are in post-production or have completed at least 70% of their shooting can apply to the 'Work in Progress' platforms until September 16. The announcement of the selected projects will take place on Monday, September 30.
Antalya Film Forum, Turkey's largest sectoral support platform, will bring directors, producers and screenwriters together with international film professionals and will award a total of 500 thousand TL in prize money this year.
