The cassette tape and CD market has collapsed and been completely replaced by digitalization. Unkapanı Recorders’ Bazaar was once a place where those dreaming of fame arrived at in the city, after selling their fields, vineyards and gardens in their villages. However, this bazaar that once ruled the industry could not keep up with this change and those beautiful days are now pages from a fairy tale. Those who go to the “fame factory” today are met with for-sale signs on the windows of empty shops. And then, there are the “loyal owners” of Unkapanı… Those who do not believe that this fairy tale is over, those who cannot come back, those who remain. Those who still hope to become famous despite years of disappointment, those who have nowhere else to go. They are the ones who are not tired of living in an endless tale.
