Antalya Film Forum Announces Awards!

The winners have been announced at this year’s Antalya Film Forum, the co-production market and project development platform of the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, which is being held for 58th year by the Municipality of Antalya with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism. The awards ceremony was presented by Turkish actress, Damla Sönmez, and, like the entire Forum program, took place online.

Under the co-directorship of Müge Özen and Pınar Evrenosoğlu, the Antalya Film Forum began on October 4, 2021 and this year supported 14 projects across five different categories with TL455 thousand worth of cash prizes, in addition to several in-kind awards.

A total of 26 projects competed at the Antalya Film Forum in the Pitching for Feature Films in Development, the Features Work-in-Progress Platform, Documentaries Work-in-Progress Platform, the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform and last year’s inaugural Series / Short Series Pitching Platform categories.

While Sefa Öztürk’s Gülüşün Ömre Bedel (A Smile Worthwhile) and Doğu Yaşar Akal’s Tussifed each won a cash prize of TL30 thousand, Sertaç Koyuncu’s Yeryüzünden (Peer Through the Skin) picked up the Film Standartları Post-Production Award.
